For about 1 or 2 months since installing the new version of Flash Player (10). Full screen mode on most videos freeze with audio still playing.

 

Some people suggest disabling hardware acceleration; but it had no effect for me. Disabling hardware acceleration most likely will help most people with this problem. Reason? well some older graphics cards cannot handle hardware acceleration and so choke.

 

Since this didn’t help me and after looking online for some time without luck. I just uninstalled Flash player and flash player activeX. Went to Adobe’s website and did a fresh install. Problem solved!

 

In most cases updated versions do not have any problems installing over the top of the previous version. Must be a 2 didgit upgrade number thing. Always a good idea to uninstall and then do a fresh install when updating some programs.
